He was the guru of T.V. Sankaranarayanan, Chitravina N Ravikiran and Neyveli Santhanagopalan. mahaadEva shiva - rEvati (മഹാദേവ ശിവ ശംഭോ - രേവതി) is also his composition.

There are 4 ragas.
1) Ranjani (രഞ്ജനി): It is a beautiful raga but slightly difficult. Ravi varma chithrathin (രവിവര്‍മ്മ ചിത്രത്തിന്‍)
2) Shree ranjani (ശ്രീരഞ്ജനി): sogasugaa mrudanga thaalamu (സൊഗസുഗാ മ്ര്‌ദംഗ താളമൂ)
3) Megha ranjani (മേഘരഞ്ജനി): There are some similarities to the raga vasantha (വസന്ത)
4) janaranjani (ജനരഞ്ജനി): paahimaam sree raaja raajeswari - kudumba sametham (പാഹിമാം ശ്രീ രാജരാജേശ്വരി - കുടുംബ സമേതം)

As to the name ranjani (രഞ്ജനി) vs ranjini (രഞ്ജിനി) - the book raagasudhaarnnavam (രാഗസുധാര്‍ണ്ണവം) says it's the former.

Here is another old semi-classical/light song (ലളിത ഗാനം). Not sure about the composer (probably Perumbavoor G. Ravindranath). Also forgotten half the lyrics....

Introducing a varnam, which is a form of carnatic composition that focuses on fast-paced swaras and usually bring out the essential features of the raga. It starts slow and then gets faster towards the end, and is used at the start of a concert.

9 Ragas (navaragamaalika - നവരാഗ മാലിക) are used in this piece.
